Pender Progress Shell Building

The Pender Progress Shell Building was constructed by Pender Progress Corporation in partnership with Pender County, Four County EMC, the Town of Burgaw and Wilmington Industrial Development. The building was designed by George Alsina, Architect, and was constructed by Lee Cowper Construction, Inc.. The building is located within Pender Progress Industrial Park in the Town of Burgaw, in which nine industries are currently located. Pender Progress Industrial Park is located off US 117, in close proximity and easy access to I-40 at the Exit 398 interchange in Pender County. The shell building site is 5.37 acres at the terminus of Worth Beverage Drive. The building is 40,000 square feet, and can be expanded to 80,000 square feet on the existing parcel. Building specifications are as follows:

Building Design:
Open Structural Space; Masonry and Steet Non-Combustible Construction; Structural Pre-Engineered Frame; Clear Anodized Aluminum Frame and Insulated Glass Storefront; Large Overhead Frames; Metal Overhead Doors at Loading Dock.

Ceiling Height:
28 feet (expandable to include second floor mezzanine)

Site Design:
Property Size-5.37 acres; On-Site Stormwater Management; Oversized Vehicular Access to Loading Dock; Large Employee Parking Lot
