The Board of Commissioners consists of five (5) members elected for staggered four (4) year terms. Commissioners must reside within the district they represent, however, they are elected to serve all the people of Pender County. See Map of Districts...

The Board of Commissioners meets on the first Monday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and the third Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. 

All meetings are open to the public and are held at the Public Assembly Room, 805 South Walker Street., Burgaw, NC 28425. Public Comment is accepted at all meetings at designated times on the agenda. Click here (BOCC Minutes/Agenda) to view meeting minutes and agendas. Meeting agendas are generally posted on the website before 11 a.m. on the Friday preceding the meetings.
