Tax Assessor's Office

The county assessor appraises and assesses all property in the county in accordance with the Machinery Act, Subchapter II of Chapter 105 of the North Carolina General Statutes.

The assessor's office also keeps track of ownership changes, maintains maps of parcel boundaries, keeps descriptions of building and property characteristics up to date, keeps track of individuals and properties eligible for exemptions and other forms of property tax relief.

The County plans to obtain a Fully Integrated Tax Billing, Collections, and CAMA Software System including application software, hardware, implementation, project management, data conversion, and training services. This Request for Proposal includes the purchase, installation, integration, data conversion, training, project management, and implementation of the Fully Integrated Tax Billing, Collections, and CAMA System for Pender County. The vendor shall have this fully integrated system completely implemented and functioning within (8) months of the contract date, if not earlier.

Pender County Utilities has rescinded the September 23, 2016 Water Outage/low pressure and Boil Water advisory issued to its customers along Country Club Drive, Olde Point Loop Road, Kings Landing Road and other side roads in the area Bacteriological analysis results of drinking water samples collected Friday from this water system show no coliform bacteria present. 

The system has resumed normal operations and you may use the water without boiling.
