The Pender County Department of Planning and Community Development announces a community outreach meeting to review the draft Currie Small Area Plan. Planning Staff and the Currie Steering Committee will be on hand to present the plan and answer any questions the public may have. The outreach meeting will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Moores Creek National Battlefield located at 40 Patriots Hall Drive in Currie. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for the residents of Currie to review the draft final document and provide their comments and recommendations to staff. Copies of the final document will be available for review. All residents of the Currie area are encouraged to attend and participate. Staff will be available for questions.
