SYNOPSIS…

HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED WELL OFFSHORE AND A NEARLY STATIONARY LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE LOWER TO MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY, WILL COMBINE AND FUNNEL COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF MOISTURE ACROSS THE AREA TODAY THRU EARLY NEXT WEEK. A FRONT WILL DROP SOUTH AND STALL WEST TO EAST JUST NORTH OF THE LOCAL AREA THRU THE WEEKEND.EXPECT SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FOR THE NEXT 3 TO 5 DAYS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF LOCALIZED FLOODING.
