APPLICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY BEING ACCEPTED FROM LOW- TO MODERATE-INCOME FAMILIES IN NEED OF HOUSING REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT

Pender County plans to submit a Neighborhood Revitalization application in 2018 for up to $750,000 in CDBG Neighborhood Revitalization Funds. If received, the grant funds will be used to benefit low- to moderate-income citizens of Pender County who are in need of housing repair or, possibly, replacement of their home. Eligible families include seniors, disabled families and families with children who earn up to 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) and who own a home in need of substantial repairs.

Low- to moderate-income families who feel they may qualify for this assistance are encourage to apply. Applications are available at the offices of the Pender County Housing Authority located at 805 South Walker Street, Burgaw, North Carolina 28425.
