Introducing the First-Ever Candy Drop at Hampstead Kiwanis Park!

Grab your buckets and bring your sweet tooth—it’s time for a candy-tastic community celebration like no other! Join us for an action-packed afternoon full of fun, friends, and flying candy!

What to expect:

We’re dropping loads of candy from way up high—yes, really! Four County Electric Membership Corporation will rain down candy in five exciting, age-based rounds. Kids (and adults!) will get their turn to dash in and scoop up as many goodies as they can carry. 

But That's Not All! Before and after the candy chaos, check out tons of family-friendly fun:

• Touch-A-Truck with Pender County Fire Marshal's Office  — Climb aboard and meet real heroes!
• Food Trucks & Local Vendors — Come hungry and support local favorites!
• Outdoor Movie Night — Stick around for a free showing of Scooby-Doo under the stars!

Event Schedule:

• 1:00 pm - Event kicks off: Vendors open & Touch-A-Truck begins
• 2:00 pm - Candy drop for ages 0-4
• 2:15 pm - Candy drop for ages 5-8
• 2:30 pm - Candy drop for ages 9-12
• 2:45 pm - Candy drop for ages 13-17
• 3:00 pm- Candy drop for ages 18+
• 4:00 pm- Event winds down
• 5:30 pm- Movie begins (bring a blanket or lawn chair!)
