PENDER COUNTY – All Pender County offices will close Wednesday, Nov. 25, Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
County Offices will reopen Monday, Nov. 30.
The Pender County Transfer Station Scale House in Hampstead and All convenience sites will be closed Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving.
The following recycling and trash sites will close Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving but will open the Friday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 27.
The facilities below will resume normal operating hours Friday, Nov. 27:
- Atkinson
- Hampstead
- Rocky Point
- Shiloh
- Whitestocking
- Transfer Station
