Breast & Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP)

The North Carolina Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP) provides early cancer detection through free or low-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings and follow-up services to eligible women in North Carolina.

Who is eligible?
Women who are eligible if they meet all of the following criteria:
-Are 40-64 years old
-Have a household income at or below 250 percent of the federal poverty level
-Are uninsured or underinsured
-Are without Medicare Part B or Medicaid

Pender County Health Department offers a Sliding Fee Scale Discount based on family size and income.  Please call 910-259-1230 for a Sliding Fee Scale Application.  No one will be denied services based on inability to pay.
