North Carolina Emergency Management and ESP Associates Inc. will hold a public meeting on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, to discuss the Southeastern North Carolina Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan.
The regional plan outlines hazards that could affect the area and identifies actions to reduce the impact of future events. Public input will help shape mitigation strategies and strengthen community resilience across the region.

- What to Expect: Residents from Brunswick, New Hanover, Onslow, and Pender counties are invited to learn about the 2025 plan update, share experiences, identify risks, and provide recommendations on strategies that protect the region. NCEM and ESP staff will be available to answer questions and accept comments throughout the meeting.
