Effective July 1, the Montague Convenience Center, located at 2003 Montague Road, will permanently close. The property, which is not owned by Pender County, has been sold and is no longer available for public use.
Pender County Solid Waste has received a 30-day notice that the current property is being sold. A new site in the area is in the works and pending approval.
In the meantime, residents are encouraged to use any of the county’s other convenience sites. A full list of alternative locations and hours of operation is available on the Pender County Solid Waste webpage..
