VA Healthcare – COVID Vaccine Information

In Southeastern North Carolina, VA healthcare employees are working around the clock to distribute the COVID vaccine to all current eligible Veterans. We are currently offering the Moderna vaccine to Veterans who meet the criteria for phase 1c.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE MY COVID VACCINE?

1. Review the four categories of eligibility below to see if you meet any element of the criteria in any one of the defined categories.

2. If you are eligible to receive a vaccine, please call 910-475-6622 to schedule an appointment through our drive-thru vaccine clinic.
We are not taking walk-ins at this time.

    • * Please note, with 73,000 Veterans in our catchment area, our call center is fielding hundreds of calls daily. To best serve you and your fellow Veteran, we have set-up a voice mailbox to ensure no need is missed. We ask that you leave your name and number, and we will return your call within 48 hours to schedule your vaccine appointment.

3. If you are NOT eligible to receive a vaccine at this time, please monitor our website or our Facebook site for vaccine phase updates.

Veterans Resource Day

Pender County Veterans Services will hold a Veterans Resource Day to provide information about Veterans benefits. Please join us on October 11th from 9am to 11am in the main hall of the Hampstead Annex building. County Veteran representatives along with the VET Center, NC Serves and other Veterans organizations will be on hand.
